Zvonimir Vrkljan, Croatian architect (Vukovar, 26 July 1902 – Zagreb, 8 February 1999), was professor emeritus of the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Zagreb. He graduated in 1924 from the Architectural Department of the Technical College in Zagreb. He worked at the atelier of I. Fisher (1926–1931), and subsequently led his own independent practice (1931–1941). He worked as full professor at the Chair for Building Construction of the Faculty of Architecture, University of Zagreb until his retirement in 1972. In several terms of office, he was Vice-Dean and Dean of the Zagreb Faculty of Architecture. In a series of realisations of functional floor plans and constructive disciplines, the complex of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Zagreb (1936–1962) stands out. He is author of around forty professional and scientific articles, scripts and textbooks covering the field of building constructions, and holder of the Viktor Kovačić (1969) and Vladimir Nazor (1977) Lifetime Achievement Awards. In 1988, he was elected Corresponding Member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
