Research activities
The activities are divided into basic research on the structure and composition of food and model systems, and applied in food processing production (industry). This includes:
- Research on aroma composition of different food (and/or model systems),
- Thermophysical an rheological properties of food,
- Inhibition of browning of fruit and vegetables,
- Changes in minimally processed fruit and vegetables,
- Sanitation and desinfection (microbial safety) of food, etc.
- Improving the process for processing and preserving food (fruits and vegetables), and more.

Educational activity
Lectures
She was the Vice-Dean (1991-1994) and Dean (1994-1998, 2002-2004) of Faculty of Food Technology, University of J. J. Strossmayer in Osijek, and Supervisor of the Department of Food Technology (2005-2007 ; 2009-2014).
As a Professor of numerous of courses, at her faculty and other faculties (in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina), she has taught many undergraduate and post-graduate courses related to the food technology, fruit and vegetable processing and preservation, raw material of vegetative origin, food chemistry, development of new food products, rapid methods for detection in food, waste management in food industry, management in agribusiness.
For educational purposes she has issued, as a co-author, one book for students.
She was supervisor for 63 diploma degree holders (B. Food Eng.), 5 postgraduate students (M.Sc.) and 7 doctoral theses (Ph.D.) in the field of Biotechnology, Food Technology.
