Curriculum Vitae
Marijana Đaković, born in 1972, holds a Ph.D. from the University of Zagreb, where she has been employed since 1997. She has achieved extremely significant internationally recognizable scientific results. He leads domestic and international projects. Her research interests include crystallography, crystal chemistry, coordination chemistry, and the latest research on the flexibility of crystalline materials. She has published a chapter in a book and 65 scientific papers in journals listed in Current Contents, Web of Science, and Scopus: 25 papers in journals of the first and 22 papers in journals of the second quartiles. She gave 68 oral and 70 poster presentations and 12 invited lectures at international conferences.
She is the President of the European Crystallographic Association (ECA) and Vice-Dean for Science of the Faculty of Science at the University of Zagreb. She was the Vice-President of ECA, a member of the Executive Board of ECA, Secretary of the ECA Interest Group for Molecular Structure and Chemical Properties, and the ECA Interest Group for Education. She is Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Scientific Council for Crystallography of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, a member of the Commission for Structural Chemistry of the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr), and a member of the Advisory Board of International Symposia of Halogen Bond (IAB ISXB). She is a member of the American Chemical Society, Royal Chemical Society, and American Crystallographic Association. She was Vice-Chair of the Bidding Committee for the 29th European Crystallographic Conference (ECM29, Rovinj, 2015), a member of Program Committees of several European Crystallographic Meetings, Chair of the Scientific Committee of the 25th Croatian Conference of Chemists and Chemical Engineers (25HSKIKI), and she served as a member of the Program Committee of the 25th Congress of the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr25). She is Chairwoman of the Organizing Committee of the 28th Croatian-Slovenian Crystallographic Meeting.
