  • attended primary (Većeslav Holjevac) and secondary comprehensive (high) school (IV. gimnazija) as well as primary and secondary music school (Vatroslav Lisinski) in Zagreb
  • from 1976-1981 studied theoretical mathematics at the Faculty of Science (Prirodoslovno-matematički fakultet) at the University of Zagreb
  • from 1978 studied at the Department of Music Culture at the Zagreb Academy of Music, and in Juni 1984 graduated from Music Academy with a thesis: The choir conductor (full professor Vladimir Kranjčević)
  • in 1980-1981 attended music therapy (medicine for music therapists, methodology and exercises) at Sestre milosrdnice (Sisters of Mercy) Hospital in Zagreb

Music culture in the period of Romanticism as well as 20th century music, particularly history of Croatian music in 2nd half of the 19th  and 1st half of the 20th century, both sacred and secular vocal music.
