previously: The Cabinet for the Research and Standardization of Immunological Substances

The Cabinet (formerly Institute) for the Research and Standardization of Immunological Substances was founded in 1983 as part of the Department of Medical Sciences. Its research focuses on immunologically active substances in viral precancerous, cancerous, and other diseases. In order to carry out laboratory and clinical field research, the cabinet cooperates with other scientific institutions at home and abroad. An important part of the cabinet's program is the application of various interferons in head and neck tumors and melanoma, as well as in precancerous and cancerous cervix uteri diseases.
