I was born in Čakovec, April 4, 1957. Since one year of age I live in Zagreb, where I finished elementary school (1972), grammar school (1976) and graduated physics on the Faculty for natural sciences and mathematics (1981).After army service, from 1983 to 1993 I was employed in several elementary and secondary schools teaching physics.
From 1993 to 1995 I was a supervisor for education in Zagreb, and from December 21, 1993 I passed the state exam for educational supervisor in front of the committee of Ministry of administration.
From 1995 to 2003 I worked as the educational inspector in then former Ministry of education and sports.
I got my masters degree in physics in 1996 from the Faculty for natural sciences and mathematics, University of Zagreb, and my thesis was “Phase diagrams of Al-Zn system“.
In 2005. I got my D.Sc. degree in history of physics with the thesis “ Vinko Dvorák – Life and Works".
Since 2001 I am the member of the technical subcommittee TO94/PO5 – Personal safety equipment, Protection of hearing of the National institute for standardization and metrology, working as a volunteer.
From July 15, 2003. I am an employee of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Institute for history and philosophy of science, Department for history of natural and mathematical sciences. From 2006. I am a docent, from 2009. Associate professor
I am also a member of Croatian physical society, Croatian society for metrology and Zagreb Observatory.
